"Iranian Revolution inspired political movements worldwide"

"Many of the political movements and popular uprisings that we see today are inspired by the Iranian Islamic Revolution," said the Argentine Muslim cleric.

Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) – Speaking at Imam al-Mahdi international conference held in Qom's Jamkaran mosque on Friday, Soheil Asad, an Argentine Muslim, made some remarks on the issue of awaiting Imam al-Mahdi (aj) and his advent saying, "Our role as Shia Muslims in general as well as Shia scholars in specific must be clearly defined during the period of Imam al-Asr's absence (aj)."

"The victory of Iran's 1979 Islamic Revolution served as a turning point in history to accelerate the realization of Mahdism doctrine and the establishment of the promised divine justice in the world."

Reiterating that people's religious awareness has been raised following the Islamic revolution, he added, "Many of the political movements and popular uprisings that we see in the world today are inspired by the Iranian Islamic Revolution."

In the end, the seminary scholar and academic pointed out the Western politicians' corrupt doctrines and asserted, "The justice that is being administered in Iran today is a step toward paving the ground for Imam al-Asr's (as) global government and it is the subject of many other countries' envy."
